Course Description and Objectives

This course includes 10 hours of online lectures in 10-60 minutes in length and 4-8 hours of
reading and quizzes. For modules 1-5 you will find handouts, references, links to video lectures and supplemental material. 

Upon completing this course, you will be able to:
1. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the basic science related to activity-based therapy.
2. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the guiding principles of activity-based therapy, phases
of recovery, periodization as it pertains to SCI and techniques utilized in training.
3. At an introductory level, identify and incorporate the components of activity based therapy
into patient interventions and progression.
